The Role


We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of History and Politics to oversee our thriving and successful History department. The role will be suitable for a candidate who is passionate about the subject and can work with our team to continue to build the profile of History within the School.


All students study History in years 7-9 and a significant number choose to take History as a GCSE option. 87% of History grades in 2022 were 9-7 and 90% of A Level grades were A*-B.

The successful candidate will be an excellent classroom practitioner with proven experience of teaching History at all levels. You will be well qualified with a good degree. Experience of teaching Politics would be an advantage.
